The University of Bern hosted a great 4th conference of the Academy of Sociology. I gave a talk about why and how higher educated immigrants react stronger to unmet migration expectations than their lower educated peers.

The BiB hosted a scientific conference with the Federal Statistical Office where I co-organised a session on well-being in population research.

The BiB turned 50 and hosted a scientific conference with population researchers from all over the world. I had the opportunity to present findings of ongoing collaborative work.

Together with Nikola Sander, I chaired a session on dataviz in policy relevant research at BiB’s anniversary conference Turning Gold.

The 12th international conference of Panel Data Users in Switzerland took place in beautiful Lausanne. I had the pleasure to present current collaborative work with Didier Ruedin.
